How Becks courts attention

Postby Yapyap814 » 18 Jul 2004, 17:42

As David Beckham launches an extraordinary attack on the media for publishing details about his alleged 'affair,' we look at just how camera shy he really is.

Image

Becks was quick to use the media to quash rumours that the golden couple's marriage was in crisis. As he kisses his wife for the whole world to see, most would save such intimacy for a private moment.

These pictures show how keen Becks is to blend in with the rest of us. There's nothing attention-grabbing about these normal hairstyles.

There was nothing understated or private about the Beckhams' engagement as Posh shows off her glittering rock to the media.

All eyes are meant to be on Posh as she tries to relaunch her music career. But Becks swoops in to steal the limelight by showing a public display of affection.

What a coincidence! Of course the matching white outfits weren't designed to attract the photographers' attention. As soon as they'd conquered Britain, they set out to woo America.

Yeah, no doubt this is from a newspaper he publically blasted....so that's biased propaganda.

In his defence, he barely gives any non-footballing interviews, a small thing that he does can generate masses of coverage...remember, he hasn't told the media to follow his every move, the media are the ones who chose David as their icon...

At least he is a good role model (despite what some disaffected people claim), he is talented, hard working and has been at the top level in his field for nearly a decade. Having a haircut is such a grand indulgence :dizzy:

yeh that's one thing you can be thankful for (and to be honest I still think people see him as a good role model and family man and all that). But he does love attention, he doesn't have to have all that attention - some of it he asks for but then some things he gets angry at. You can't just turn it off like a tap, if you want some of the attention you have to live with the bad parts aswell (but in no way am I saying that he deserves some parasites going around claiming of affairs to live off his fame).

I think the only things that David gets angry about is when his privacy is being violated and/or his family are being affected. He doesn't care if people bad mouth him or criticise him or claim something....

Whatever clothes or 'wacky' hairstyle he sports, shouldn't matter...he has the right to privacy...hence why celebrities have something called the Press Complaints Commission :D

I think he does, looked pretty angry at Euro 2004 when everyone was saying he under-perfromed.
