I love the cover and I think she is looking more and more sophisticated in her looks...which in my opinion is heading towards the right direction.

I know this might not be very popular, but I think if she wants to be taken seriously as a designer, she needs to stop doing all these different Mags cover, with the exception of the really high brow ones.

Its rare to see all the other designers doing all sorts of Mag covers...I know as fans, we love seeing the the Mags, but I much prefer the editorials and features about her, as they seem to have more gravitas...again this is just my opinion, obviously, it will be quite interesting to read what everybody else thinks.

I understand your point. I think it is okay coz she's a celebrity for long time and she can be a great cover girl. She is a perfect idea woman of who are not just establish herself really well in a fashion industry but pictured a perfect story of glamour,beautiful, personality, great success of celebrity turn designer. Compare to all the designers we have today, they are originally start themselves only in fashion.

That would be boring to see her hiding and be mysterious. I don't mean she should be overexpose herself in not right way, but we not see her much doing anything else except design dresses.. No documentary, no music or films so this is one of the ways she can entertain her fans.

Maybe I'm in my "delusional fan" mode, but I don't think covers and editorials in fashion magazines hurt her career as a designer. Of course she has to be carefull about where she appears (Marie Claire, Glamour, Allure and things like that are a no-no in my opinion), when, how often and things like that, but appearing in a magazine is an opportunity to promote her line.
As for the fact that she on the covers (much) more then other designers - a magazine needs to be sold and she's one of the few designers who can do it.

The whole cover is too much the same for my taste. Not just the bathing suit but the pose as well.

While I agree most designers don't pose on mag covers, they do use huge ad campaigns to promote their products inside the magazines. Victoria does not have the budget to do that, so she does this instead. It has been said many times that she is her best advertisement.
