i don't understand what's going on ... it's like the story of Disco Sister again... at that time she wanted to be the disco Queen, then new Dido ... now it's the same .... we heard that album will be like Madonna's Confessions ... now we knew that t will be more acoustic .... i'm upset...

Well, if you HAD to choose, Schizophonic would be more acoustic than disco (not that it's anything of those 2 though), so it's not the end of the world yet.

I don't want another camp, pop record like SIYWGF. I want a credible, serious album with pop masterpieces like Schizophonic, with a bit of everything. I hope the new album features some great pop songs like Bag It Up and Mi Chico Latino, credible acoustic/ballad-ish songs like Someone's Watching Over Me or Goodnight Kiss, anthem ballads like Walkaway or Lift Me Up and edgy songs like Look At Me and Sometime.

To be fair - if she came back with a 'dance' album, people would just say she's jumping on the gaga bandwagon.
Perhaps something more pop/guitar/acoustic orientated is a smart move?
'Mi Chico Latino' is more guitar/acoustic so it could be all good.

I don't see Geri going full on dance tbh. Especially since she worked mostly with Absolute, it's just not their style... I predict something more pop/camp/disco influenced, in the vein of "Bag It Up" and "Who do you think you are" - the 90s influence she talked about before - and then some softer moments and ballads aswell. Going back to her roots basically.

I think people shouldn't expect her to come back sounding like Madonna/Rihanna/Gaga/Katy, etc, she's just gonna do her own thing. Even though she mentioned the "Confessions on a dancefloor" similarity I think it's more in terms of energy than in the actual style of the songs.

I feel the same as a big fan of her ballads I am happy with anything really. I just want to hear her voice again on record which Im sure has grown.

To me everything sounds like she's going to give us Passion-Geri. I mean, there, she gave us a more mature Geri but still faithful to her pop roots, which is exactly what we are looking into right now.
