American Horror Story & Emma, What do they have in common?

Not much at all. But in the show there are two brothers called Beau and Tate. The show premiered in October 2011, Emma gave birth to Tate in May 2011. Coincidence?

LOL very much doubt the writers copied Emma, she's not even THAT popular in the US... but at the same time it's a bit of a strange coincidence, isn't it? Beau and Tate aren't exactly Jack and Jayden...

Seriously though, they aren't very common names at all, and they're not even for two random characters but for two brothers. It's just very random.

Perhaps this is looking way too deep into this. But. American Horror Story was created by Ryan Murphy...who also created Glee. I wouldn't doubt the guy's a Spice Girls fan. Either that, or maybe someone else on the staff is.

Perhaps the naming of the characters has absolutely nothing to do with Emma, but I wouldn't say it's impossible.

I actually think it's too much of a coincidence. Maybe someone who worked on the show heard/read the names the day Emma gave birth to Tate by chance and liked them?
