yeh ok my mistake but since when did you decide to be fair where geris concernedTheBiatches wrote:Falcon wrote: The point is here we are april and the waiting continues with no mention of anything music despite an album that was supposedly about to be released, imminent!
To be fair, she said an announcement was imminent, not the album

This imminent (and i'm getting to hate that word) statement she made in that interesting state i assume to be something decent, relating to either a label/record deal, single/album release or atleast dates and even a tour but that's getting a bit ahead - anything less i won't be impressed especially if it's got to do with that tv stuff or this boy band crap... the wait better be worth it!

Well, we all know that time doesn`t matter in Geriwood. It stands still.

"imminent" in the music business can mean "a few months" easily, it doesn't have to be the following week.

I knew imminent wouldn't be right away. She is obviously tying in the albums release with this Living show which is now in the works.

Not really. People hardly watch music channels anymore nowadays. And People arent quickly just gonna search on new geri Halliwell videos on youtube. So having her new music incorporated with a reality docu/ tv show or whatever sounds like a good idea to me

It's not that serious

At the end of the day, this record (if it even exists) isn't going to propel Geri to the top of the charts. Unless she's working with RedOne, the mass market won't be attracted to it. That's a sad state of affairs for music, in general.

Yeah, she needs to be working with some big names if she's gonna want to be successful with this album. Melanice C has been flopping with release after release, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts both flopped. These albums are hardly heard of, well mostly outside of the UK. Think Cheryl Cole, she's doing well because she's working with big names in the industry ...

There are other popular producers besides just RedOne, although would be an excellent choice for her to work with.

Re: 4th Album News & Discussion
Are you joking? RedOne is a second hand, he's not popular now at all ... Everybody use David Guetta as a producer, but he's everywhere, and i think public is tired of him, so he's loosing hes popularity... Also there is Calvin Harris, everybody thought that he's done, when he finished working with Kylien but after work with Rihanna i think he's back ... also there was a rumour that Geri was working with him on this new record ...
errmmm .... Nicola's album was a very big succes in internet outside Uk, she's very popular in Russia and Latin America, and she was working with big producer Diplo on this record also.... it's just stupid UK music industry and music fans , who didn't pay attention to her, such a shame, i don't understand why she's not promoting her album in Europe, she would be very big here...
For me, i don't care if Geri will have succes with this record or not, i really want her to prove general public that she's a good pop artist...

yeh imminent can mean a few months in the music business but to geri it could mean a few years. You'd think at her age time would be a priority!

This show has obviously been in discussions since she made the "imminent" statement in February hence no more news.
I knew Geri wouldn't bullshit her fans!

lmao
Nicola Roberts "Beat Of My Drum" is produced by the same people that produced Beyoncé's "Run The World". Melanie C's "Think About It" was produced by Cutfather who worked with Pixie Lott, JLS, Kylie, Pussycat Dolls, The Wanted, etc. And then Cheryl Cola's biggest hits were produced by Wayne Wilkins, whose biggest (and nearly only) hits are both of Cheryl's #1 singles and Natasha Bedingfield's These Words. So your point couldn't be any more wrong.
You don't need to work with big names to be successful.

No I assuming the reality show idea was brought to her/thought up after she made that statement. Thats my assumption anyway.
I don't see how she craps on her fans? certainly not to same extent as Mel B does thats for sure.

,
I don't really agree - a lot of stuff written here is just speculation and guess work, not much has actually come from Geri, especially regarding any dates! So, she's not promised much for anyone to be disappointed in or let down by. People have just done that themselves
. What was the last proper interview she did (besides the imminent announcement one)? I don't even remember.
