Also if past experience is anything to go by, Victoria only cooes and goes on about what a brand when she has a special relationship with them.....the Dolce&Gabanna phase, the Roberto Cavalli phase, the Azzedine Alaia phase, the Armani phase, the Marc Jacobs phase and now the Prada phase. So it seems possible she might wear a Prada. :-)

I don't think she's a Prada girl, miu miu suits her better and she's definitely in with the miu miu side. I understand VB's fascination with how they've maintained their exclusive air and the amount of influence Miuccia has as a designer with that side being so male dominated.

Right, about Miuccia and her brand. I mean she doesn't really fit the "Prada woman" style wise, I don't think I've ever seen her wear a Prada outfit, just miu miu.

Only guests I read about are models, very few celebrities (not sure if any other than Twilight actresses), so that doesn't worry me (don't know what you've read, obviously). What isn't good is that origin of the story Tony posted is Page Six, a gossip site. As it turns out, their whole story is BS, that girl, Kate something, was invited to attend by Michael Kors (I think they fit so well together)

If Victoria is going she should get on a plane sometimes soon. Or maybe they are both going (I'm on the leave-David-at-home train ) after his game tonight, leaving kids with aunt and grandma.

also when she went to China we didn't get pix at airport in LA... I still have hopes.
It would be sad if she doesn't go, it's the biggest night of fashion and she is a fashion designer now...

I thought she and David could make romantic trip out of this. Fly private after his game, spend couple of days alone in NY and attend the Gala. But I refuse to hope, it's a (too) long shot. Shame, it would be great, specially since it gonna be streamed. We could have had a little party here at DD, waiting to see her and commenting on everybody else in the meantime.
