To be quite honest, I really don't think the majority of people on DenDen care enough about any artist for them to warrant their own forum, anymore! Bar the Spice Girls.

Yes, for the three threads about her that have been created over the last 10 years.

It was more because there seems to be talks about her in the small talk' so thats why I thought it would good that she had her own forum

When DD first started, that forum was one of the busiest here. It's still one of the more well known Sarah chat places.

Personally I largely only use the Spice Girls forum & those of the individual Spices. This is set out well in my opinion and I don't think it really needs to change.
I occasionally check into the Kylie & Dannii one too. Having this forum separate, helps to keep them separate from all the other Pop threads, but I do agree there's not much activity there. My query with having one big thread for persons is that alot of different things can be discussed within it, so when it's busy it could be confusing???

Well, as long as you keep small talk and the Melanie C forum all is well. Some of the forums I wonder how many people check out, some forums like Kylie and Sugababes I only check out of routine yet based on the activity in them I wonder how effective they are.

I say keep the Spice forums and for the rest of the artists do something like popjustice: a single music forum with a general topic per artist + topics for the new eras/releases.

For example: The current Xtina thread in Small Talk could be moved there and become the "General Christina Aguilera Discussion" topic. Then by the time her new album is officially announced there would be a new topic - "Christina Aguilera - New Album Title", and the new album + singles discussion would be kept in there.

And then just make sure Small Talk would be kept free of artist specific topics.

Also, in the life section I think there are way too many forums. I would probably just keep the Sex forum there for the racier topics, everything else would fit in Small Talk imo... People already talk about most of that stuff in ST anyway - movies, tv, digital stuff, parenting, travelling, relationship advice, etc...

Indeed... on a lesser scale than music topics, but on occasion people post a topic about a film or television programme in Small Talk anyway. For example, Sarah Michelle Gellar's 'Ringer'.

I like the spice + spice solo formums to stay. Of the other artist forums I browse through Saturdays, Girls Aloud and Sugababes alot. The other ones not so much.

I'd like to suggest a forum for LGBT(Q) Issues. These are topics that affect a lot of the people on DenDen, and there's so much that really doesn't fall under the umbrella of Love & Sex. There's a lot of topics that get discussed from Gay/Human rights, to coming out stories to the tragic suicides we keep hearing about. I post a few of these topics, and I even hold back on posting some because I don't want to spam Small Talk or L&S with gay threads.
I'm not talking about topics like "Gay guys, what's your sex position?", but things that pertain to the lifestyle.
