I think it's brilliant - I love all the characters and find it extremely funny.

It's getting less funny for me nowadays, but I still watch it... I think it's the sitcom format, it's getting kinda predictable/boring for me. I especially can't stand the canned laughter and applause. But it still has some funny moments from time to time, How I Met Your Mother is the one show that has become really boring with time, not even Barney can save it right now.

I'm much more into comedies like Modern Family, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation and the amazing Community

I agree that it also lost some of its initial punch, but I love the characters and Tina Fey's humor, so I still find it enjoyable.

Does it? It sounds so forced... Maybe they do film in front of an adience but still tack on an additional laugh track in post?

I've only seen a handful. mostly season 1 and I think its got funny moments. Its not like, side splittingly funny, but good for a weekend in.

It's like saying Will and Grace is homophobic because Jack is a massive stereotype and they take the piss out of him for it.
