Oh no, that's really sad. Maybe that's why that school had seen so much music teached in the past years if the principal is like that.

No, the music program has been crap for 10 years because regular teachers who were surplussed from other schools were dumped into the position without knowing how to teach music. At least this year, the Grade Sixes will go to middle school knowing how to read sheet music.

It didn't necessarily ruin my day, nor did it annoy me. But today is Kennedy's service. They chose to have her cremated so the service is being held at a all, where there'll be food and family. I know it's going to be an emotional day and I'm not prepared for it. The more I tried to prepare myself for it last night, the more anxious I got and didn't want to go. But I have to, for my sister, for her fiancee.

Also, my favorite (yes I have a favorite, get over it) Aunt and my Mom (who are like best friends) got into a spat yesterday. And now neither one of them are talking to each other. It just makes me upset, because my Aunt is basically all who my Mom has right now. I know they'll make amends, but it still doesn't dispute the fact that they're not talking. :(

It's just a dismal day.

I cried anyway. And it felt good to release some of that emotion. What was hard was seeing my sister cry hard while her fiance held her hand and caressed it. :(

About a week ago my sister filed a restraining order against her ex-husband (they weren't married long, not even 4 years, and she got married just 2 weeks after turning 18), because he was harassing her, calling her a whore, hoping when she had cancer she'd die, and that she'd lose the baby, etc. He also sent her a card in the mail congratulating her on being "a whore", so that's where she drew the line. Well, today she got a text from his GF saying they're serving HER papers for whatever reason, but wouldn't say. And that she just has a court date on the 25th of June. I don't know if they're pulling her bluff or it's a ploy or what. Kristen seems to think that he's trying to take Lola away, even though he can't because she's HER dog. I think he's just pissed because he's not in control (he's a control freak dickhead) and she took the upper hand and put a PPO against him.

I just wish he'd leave us alone. It upsets me to my sister stressed out because of this asshole. Ugh.

He really is. And I wish he would. But he's one of those types of people who can't let the past go. Yeah, my sister did a lot of shitty things while they were married, but he's done worse to her, and is still doing worse stuff to her now. I hope the judge sees right through him (if he indeed really taking her to court for whatever reason). I feel sorry for his current girlfriend, who has a daughter. She's 2, I think. Who will have to put up with his mind games and emotional abuse.

He needs to just let bygones be bygones and leave us the fuck alone.

My Grandma was admitted to the hospital a few days ago. Last night my mom called and said to hurry down because she might not make it through the night. Going there seeing her in pain and curled up on that huge hospital bed was just heart-breaking. She's not really coherent they said, so don't be expecting any recognition. But gosh darn it, if when I got there and said it was me, she didn't grab my hand and squeeze it and kept running her thumb over my knuckles. It's so hard knowing that the woman who practically raised me and the person I'd run to, to share the exciting things in my life with isn't going to be there in a matter of a few days. I haven't stopped crying for the last two days straight.

^^I'm sorry for your grandma, I hope she can make it :(

What sorta ruin my day, is prime minister Harper wanting to pass a law to change Imployment Insurence. That would mean, if I don't get a new job before my contract ends (or if I lose my job) they can decide not to pay me benefit and force me wo work night shift or to a job where I'm less paid.
