What ANNOYED you today?
Re: What ANNOYED you today?
ive done zumba twice and left the class both times as it was the most stupid class i had attended. I dident find it hard and there is no jumping just a lot of shaking like an idiot. Its not a hard class and if you have a high exercise tolerance its a piece of piss.
Im no expert on pregnancy, but in my gym lots of the scary mummy brigade have exercised all through the pregnancy. With their perfect bowling ball bellies and seize 8 hips. just adapting where needed and pulling back on the intensity. some have even come in the day they dropped and back in the gym 1 week after birth. All babies were fit and healthy and mums said they had "easy" births. So for me that's not unusual and quite believable. But as I had not been around women that exercised when pregnant i found it odd at first and worrying. But Ive been reassured that as long as there are no physial problems and the baby is out you can return to light exercise. And if Im lucky to get knocked up id like to be that way to.
Zumba (very adaptable to low impact just stand and shake)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDMAJ-f- ... re=related
Body jam( the teacher came back 9 days after baby as a participant)

Suzanne and Robyn, sorry for your losses and for the constant reminders at this time of year.
I'm the opposite of you two in that I cherish every Mother's Day I have left with my mom because I don't know which one will be the last. However, I understand how painful the ads can be (they're painful to me in another way) and I hope you're both feeling better soon.

Well thanks for the support everyone! But I personally am ok with it. Plus, it's not even mother's day here today!

Re: What ANNOYED you today?
I'm pissed because my mom, sister, and my sister's fiance took off to go out to eat without me. Yeah, I don't leave the house a lot, but it would've been nice if they invited me. But no, they didn't even give it a thought. I wake up to Lola, in her crate, barking her head off. I let her out to do her thing, call my mom and she said she'd "bring me home something". I'm grateful for that, but I'm still pissed I wasn't even invited.

Re: What ANNOYED you today?
I would cite the earthquake as the recent cause for annoyance.
Huge quake at 4 in the morning, I had just come back from a night out and was standing in the bathroom. I had to grab something cause it was hard to stand on one's feet. Most people woke up and realized what it was only when it was almost over. I was awake, so I recognized it almost immediately and had to entirely live the whole 15-20 seconds of it.
Never felt it so strong and lasting, so far I only perceived small 1 second long vibrations. It's really weird to see the whole house moving, since it feels natural to consider it a secure, solid refuge. Now every little noise I hear, I'm alarmed. Now it's time for aftershocks.

Heat. It's suposed to be up to 30C today. I do have once A/C up in my room but the one lin the living room isn't ready so I only have a fan wich does little for me. My parents' pool isn't ready so my only way to get fresh is to stay in my room or have a cold shower. I have a date at a coffeeshop this afternoon, they better have iced coffee.

Ooo that's quite terrifying. I've only experienced one, very minor quake in my life. I hope everything is safe on your end!

^ Yeah, I was kinda curious to know what it feels like, cause I only experienced brief wobbles. Well, it consists of a great sense of uneasiness.
Our luck is that the plain is made of sediments that are total shit when it comes to propagate telluric waves. If it was a rocky area, weaves would've been almost as strong as the ones on the epicenter, since it wasn't far away.
Oh, another aftershock, just one minute ago, as I was typing.
Quite small, I gotta say. I'm constantly updated cause I have an unstable object on my bookcase, so whenever there's an aftershock it makes some noise, ha.

Oh that's quite terrifying Stewie! I once felt an earthquake on holiday in Turkey, it woke me up and I thought I was dreaming! I was the only one who felt it.

My co-worker which is my ex-friend's brother moved my coke to the bottom in the fridge and it was under someone over someone else's lunch! He should ask first before he moved it!

The student strike against the education fee hike is getting omore and more annoying. First they bloc streets and bridge with demonstrations, then they paralyse the subway by trowing fume bombs and now people protest against bill 78 by banging on pots and pan outside. This was only located on Montreal's island, but now I just learned their will be a pot adn pans "concert" just in front of where I live. They might not care because they don't go to school and don't have to get up early, but I DO, I have to work to make money and I already have lots of issue sleeping, I don't need any agravation.
I'm also fed up that the city (specially downtown) isn't really welcoming (USA embassy even suggest that US Citizen don't come to Montreal) and how this makes us looks so bad (we already have the lowest fees in North America)

Add to that, prime minister Harper take advantage we only talk about the strike to pass a law making criminal abortion: even for medical reason. I don't like it went they take away my right to chose.

It's too hot. I'm ginger and have such fair skin so I'll have to cover up completely on my walk to work, which will result in me being even warmer...eugh. By the time I get to work, I'm gonna be a giant sweaty mess.

Put on sunscreen! I'm not ginger but I inherited from my grandma's (who was ginger) extremly fair skin. I burn if I stay 10-15 minutes outside without sunscreen. It's my best friend now.

The strike nonsense is really pissing me off, too. I was planning a trip to Montreal, but I'm moving it to July now. I hope it'll be over by then. I just heard on the news the other day that you guys have the lowest tuition.. I had no idea! Makes Quebec look really bad, for sure.

We look like a bunch of fools, just look at MacLean's cover. No wonder the rest of Canada hates us.

Can you believe the rise is only 325 fucking dollars. I just wan to scream at them: don't get an expensive iPhone, stop going out every weekend and take the transit instead of buying a car! I really hope it's gonna be over soon because it's gonna be so bad for tourist season and yet

edit: They are now banging on my street. At first they where only 2 but now they are 20-30. And for one it was cooler outside with a breeze... I hade to close the windows (I have a migrane on top of it)
