I had problems with the font too, but now it looks ok. Check out CharDudett's reply to me and see if it helps:

Do you not like having anti aliasing on??? The font looks completely fine as long as you have that option switched on.

Check if ClearType is still enabled:
Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Adjust ClearType text

Then check your font settings for windows, menu items and dialog boxes:
Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Personalization > Window Color > Advanced appearance settings

Or maybe post a printscreen of what it looks like to you. I did that in a previous post when the font was still screwed up, take a look and see if you have the same problem or if it's something else.

I still really dislike the header and top bar in the ugly blue color And I agree with Andres, the difference between different posts could be more accentuated somehow.

I think it depend your computeur.
In my work it look Aweful, and at home it's really nice.
Check your computeur brigthess maybe

Can the star next to the threads go back to meaning what it meant before? That was quite helpful, and I find it kind of pointless that it now indicates that a thread is popular, especially because by looking at how many replies/pages a thread has you understand if it's popular or not!

I changed the font encoding back and forth and it's now ok, well exept for the font on the blue banner, it changed.

I am using Safari too, but I can't see any bold? I haven't changed any settings either lol
